How billing works

Last updated: 2026-11-01

In short

Pay as you go: $0 a month, and you pay only for what you use. Each product gives its first 20 free every month. PayPal is connected once for the company, and you are charged once a month, in one payment.

Prices

Overage: $0.10 for each check that passes, face or document. A check that does not pass, a retry or a cancelled check costs nothing.

Overtry: $0.15 an image, whatever the product. An image is one colour the shopper opens; in the exact mode for walls and floors one photo is one image, whatever colours the shopper tries.

For large volume, invoice billing or an SLA: Custom, by contract. Prices are in US dollars.

Starting: free

Sign in at lamp.ar/login, create your company and add a site or a shop. Each product gives 20 uses a month free. No card and no PayPal needed for that.

When the free ones run out

Overage: the age check stops checking new visitors. The check stays on the site with a message that its monthly limit is reached, so new visitors cannot get in; visitors already verified and remembered still can.

Overtry: the try-on button says try-on isn't available right now. The shop works as usual; only try-on stops.

Both start again on the 1st of the next month (UTC), or at once when you turn on pay as you go for the product. We e-mail you at 80% and at 100%.

Turning on pay as you go

In the dashboard, open the product and choose “Connect PayPal”. You sign in to PayPal once and agree that Lampar Solutions charges it automatically. When you come back, that product is on.

The other product stays off, on its 20 free, until you choose “Turn on pay as you go” on its page. No new PayPal step is needed.

You can turn a product off at any time: it goes back to 20 free a month.

While it is on

Overage does not pause, however many checks there are.

Overtry pauses at the monthly spending limit you set in the dashboard ($50 unless you change it, from $5 to $100,000). Raise the limit and try-on works again at once.

The dashboard always shows what you have spent this month.

When you pay

After each calendar month (UTC), on the 1st, we charge what was used in the month before, both products in one PayPal payment, minus the first 20 of each. An amount under $10 is carried over to the next month. PayPal e-mails you a receipt, and the dashboard's Billing page lists past payments.

Example: in November, 300 checks and 120 images. (300 − 20) × $0.10 + (120 − 20) × $0.15 = $28 + $15 = $43, charged on 1 December.

If a payment fails

We try again the next day. After three refusals in a row both products go back to 20 free a month until you connect PayPal again; the unpaid amount is charged then.

Stopping

Turn pay as you go off on a product's page, pause or delete your sites and shops, or remove Lampar Solutions from your PayPal automatic payments. What was used until then is charged with the next monthly payment.
